The CG Gallery in Manhattan has called off its first ever modern art exhibition.
The exhibition which was due to start today has been hailed by critics as “pure genius,” and “the best thing to happen in the art world since Warhol.”
Was called off by the organizers for “Being crap!”
Brad Brusher the owner of the CG Gallery told Nothing To Serious, “Have you seen some of the stuff, it is crap”.
We asked Brad about some of the “art” that would have been on show. He told us about his favorite, The Tom Cruise Egg. “I like the Tom Cruise Egg, it’s an egg with a picture of Tom Cruise on it.” Brad let us take this picture.
The Re-Birth Of Tom Cruise
We asked if the egg was hard boiled?
“Oh God, No that would detract from the purity of the piece.”
Vlad Inpailer's Red Circle Blue Box Video installation.
Brad told us about some of the other canceled exhibits.
"Yoko Tomamoto's work was seen as original at first, her Hard Party peice for instance was seen by The New Yorker as "highly original".Brad told us.
Tamamoto's Hard Party work
"But then we looked at the internet and found thousands of artworks that were very similar, and older than yamamoto's stuff. So we ditched her."
Kiko's Banned Art.
"We finaly decided to cancel when Iko Kiko's "Pat" work was banned by the American Arts Foundation for being too violent."
So we will have to wait for someone to put on a great CG art exibition, maybe we should call Peter Jackson.
